Jet Aviation is seeking highly skilled and passionate G650 Captains to join their Flight Operations team in Hong Kong. The Captain reports to the Director of Flight Operations, specifically for G650 fleets.
Main Responsibilities:
The Captain is responsible for ensuring the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard the aircraft. They must ensure strict adherence to all operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM). This includes verifying that all crew members are at their designated stations during critical phases of flight, such as take-off, final approach, and landing. The Captain is responsible for preventing any crew activity during these phases that is not essential for the safe operation of the aircraft. They will also ensure flight data and cockpit voice recorders are not disabled or erased, unless required for the investigation of an incident or accident.
The Captain coordinates workload distribution amongst the flight crew to maximize airmanship. They are responsible for maintaining precise navigation, observing minimum altitudes, respecting the limitations of all aircraft systems, and enforcing the strict use of checklists. The Captain must ensure sufficient usable fuel remains to reach a safe landing airport with final reserve fuel. They will maintain close communication with the cabin crew regarding safety requirements, and ensure the flight and technical logs are accurately completed. The Captain will file written reports for occurrences and accidents when necessary. Furthermore, they must maintain thorough familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, the JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices. They are expected to maintain a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a company representative. They must also comply with regulations detailed in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO). The Captain is required to brief all passengers on the location of emergency exits and the proper use of safety equipment.
