Jet Aviation is currently reinforcing its Flight Services Team in Hong Kong and is seeking a highly skilled Captain for the Bombardier Global 7500.
Position Summary
Jet Aviation seeks a highly skilled Captain to join its Flight Services team in Hong Kong, playing a key role in delivering exceptional flight operations. This position is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of flight safety, operational performance, and regulatory compliance, while providing a seamless and professional experience for the company's discerning clients. Reporting directly to the Director of Flight Operations, the successful candidate will be part of a team committed to excellence, innovation, and safety at every altitude.
Key Responsibilities
The Captain will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:
- Ensuring the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard the aircraft.
- Ensuring compliance with all operational procedures and checklists in accordance with the provisions of the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Ensuring all crew members occupy their designated stations prior to take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibiting any crew member from performing activities during take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing, except for duties required for the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Preventing the disabling or erasure of any flight data and/or cockpit voice recorder, unless data needs to be conserved for the investigation of an incident or accident and would otherwise be automatically erased.
- Coordinating the work distribution within the flight crew to achieve maximum airmanship during flight.
- Ensuring precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitudes.
- Observing the limitations of all aircraft systems and ensuring the proper use and handling of the aircraft.
- Enforcing the strict use of checklists.
- Ensuring that the amount of usable fuel remaining is sufficient to proceed to an airport where a safe landing can be made, with final reserve fuel remaining.
- Maintaining close contact with the cabin crew to ensure all requirements concerning cabin safety are followed.
- Ensuring that the flight and technical logs are completed accurately.
- Filing written occurrence and accident reports if the necessity arises.
- Maintaining familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, the JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices to fulfill the function effectively.
- Maintaining a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Complying with the regulations contained in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensuring that all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
- Representing Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with type rating for the Bombardier Global 7500, issued by FAA, UK, or EASA authorities.
- More than 500 hours of flight time on the Bombardier Global 7500 type.
