To reinforce the Flight Services team in Singapore, Jet Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Captain for the G700 aircraft. The Captain will play a key role in delivering exceptional flight operations, ensuring the highest standards of flight safety, operational performance, and regulatory compliance, while providing a seamless and professional experience for clients. Reporting directly to the Director of Flight Operations, the Captain will be an integral part of a team committed to excellence, innovation, and safety at every altitude.
Description of Duties:
- Ensuring the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard the aircraft.
- Ensuring compliance with all operational procedures and checklists as stipulated in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Verifying that all crew members are at their designated stations prior to take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibiting any crew member from performing activities during take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing, except those essential for the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Ensuring that flight data and cockpit voice recorders are not disabled or erased, unless necessary for incident/accident investigation and data conservation.
- Coordinating work distribution within the flight crew to achieve maximum airmanship during flight operations.
- Ensuring precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitudes.
- Observing limitations of all aircraft systems and ensuring proper use and handling of the aircraft.
- Strictly enforcing the use of checklists.
- Ensuring sufficient usable fuel remains to reach an airport for a safe landing, retaining final reserve fuel.
- Maintaining close communication with the cabin crew to ensure all cabin safety requirements are followed.
- Ensuring completion of flight and technical logs.
- Filing written occurrence and accident reports when necessary.
- Maintaining familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manuals, and agreed aviation practices pertinent to the role.
- Upholding a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of the company.
- Complying with regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensuring all passengers receive briefings on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
- Representing Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Desirable: Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a type rating for G700 (FAA, UK, or EASA).
- Consideration will be given to pilots with G500 or G600 type ratings, or those with substantial experience on large cabin corporate aircraft from manufacturers such as Gulfstream, Bombardier, or Dassault.
- More than 200 hours on type.
- Willingness to relocate to Singapore.
