To reinforce the Flight Services team in Hong Kong, Jet Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Captain for the G700 aircraft. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional flight operations. The Captain will ensure the highest standards of flight safety, operational performance, and regulatory compliance, while providing a seamless and professional experience for clients. Reporting directly to the Director of Flight Operations, the Captain will be an integral part of a team committed to excellence, innovation, and safety at every altitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Complies with all operational procedures and checklists in accordance with the provisions of the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Ensures all crew members occupy their stations prior to take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Does not permit any crew member to perform any activity during take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing except those duties required for the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Does not allow any flight data and/or cockpit voice recorder to be disabled or erased, unless data needs to be conserved for the investigation of an incident or accident and would otherwise automatically be erased.
- Coordinates the work distribution within the flight crew to achieve a maximum standard of airmanship for the conduct of the flight.
- Ensures precise navigation and observation of minimum altitudes.
- Observes the limitations of all aircraft systems and ensures the proper use and handling of the aircraft.
- Enforces the strict use of checklists.
- Ensures that the amount of usable fuel remaining suffices to proceed to an airport where a safe landing can be made, with final reserve fuel remaining.
- Maintains close contact with the cabin crew to ensure all requirements concerning cabin safety are being followed.
- Ensures the flight and technical logs are completed.
- Files written occurrence and accident reports if the necessity arises.
- Maintains familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, the JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices to fulfill the function.
- Maintains a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of the company.
- Complies with the regulations contained in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensures that all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
- Represents Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Holds a valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) with type rating for G700 (FAA, UK, or EASA).
- Possesses more than 500 hours on type.
- Is willing to relocate to Hong Kong.
- Demonstrates a strong customer service and safety focus.
- Possesses excellent communications, customer service, and people skills.
- Is results-driven, capable of execution with high personal accountability.
- Shows strong initiative and self-direction.
