Jet Aviation, a distinguished leader in global aviation since 1967, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced BBJ NG Captain to join its Flight Operations team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of flight safety and operational procedures, while delivering exceptional service to our discerning clientele. This position reports directly to the Director of Flight Operations, with a specific focus on Boeing fleets based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
The Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies. Their duties include:
- Ensuring the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Complying with all operational procedures and checklists as detailed in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Ensuring all crew members are properly stationed before takeoff, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibiting non-essential crew activities during critical phases of flight, such as takeoff, initial climb, final approach, and landing.
- Preserving flight data and cockpit voice recorder information, unless required for incident or accident investigation.
- Coordinating work distribution within the flight crew to ensure optimal airmanship.
- Maintaining precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitudes.
- Observing all aircraft system limitations and ensuring proper aircraft handling.
- Enforcing the strict use of checklists.
- Ensuring adequate fuel reserves for safe landing, with final reserve fuel remaining.
- Maintaining close communication with cabin crew to ensure adherence to all cabin safety requirements.
- Completing all flight and technical logs accurately.
- Filing written occurrence and accident reports when necessary.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant aviation regulations, the JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices.
- Maintaining a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance befitting a company representative.
- Complying with all regulations contained in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensuring that all passengers are briefed on emergency exit locations and the proper use of safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current type rating for the BBJ NG or Max 8.
- An FAA or EASA license is preferred.
- Prior experience in private jet operations is required.
