A220 Captain - Singapore Based
Jet Aviation is seeking experienced A220 Captains to join its Flight Services team in Singapore. Since 1967, Jet Aviation has been committed to perfecting the art of flight, and the Captain plays a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of safety, operational procedures, and client service. Reporting to the Director of Flight Operations, the Captain will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the A220 aircraft.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Ensuring compliance with all operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Verifying that all crew members are properly stationed prior to take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibiting any crew member from performing non-essential activities during critical phases of flight (take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing).
- Protecting flight data and cockpit voice recorder information from unauthorized access or erasure.
- Coordinating work distribution within the flight crew to maximize airmanship.
- Ensuring precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitudes.
- Observing aircraft system limitations and ensuring proper aircraft handling.
- Enforcing strict adherence to checklists.
- Ensuring adequate fuel reserves for safe landing.
- Maintaining close communication with the cabin crew to ensure cabin safety protocols are followed.
- Ensuring accurate completion of flight and technical logs.
- Filing occurrence and accident reports as necessary.
- Maintaining familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and agreed aviation practices.
- Maintaining a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a company representative.
- Complying with the regulations contained in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensuring that all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the use of safety equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current A220 type rating.
- Private jet experience preferred.
- Minimum of 500 hours on Bombardier XRS; 5,000 hours will also be considered.
- Willingness to relocate to Singapore.
