Role Summary
Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Second in Command (SIC) for Citation XLS+ aircraft operations based in Washington, DC. This full-time position involves Part 91 and 135 flight operations, requiring the candidate to reside within a two-hour call-out time of their home base or be willing to relocate.
About the Role
The Second in Command reports to the Base Chief Pilot and is instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Key responsibilities include managing duty and rest times, maintaining communication with the company, managing electronic flight bag systems, ensuring currency of navigation charts and publications, and upholding company core values.

Total Time: 1500 hours

Total PIC (Pilot in Command): 500 hours

Total Multi-Engine: 500 hours

Total Turbine: 100 hours

Total Instrument: 150 hours

Possession of a current 1st Class Medical Certificate

Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license

Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Current passport

ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) or the ability to obtain an ATP

FCC Restricted Radio License

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random testing, including for marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines.

Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries

Ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review

Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
Qualifications

Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
