Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Second in Command (SIC) for its Citation X Super Midsize jet aircraft operations in Spokane, WA. This full-time position involves Part 91 and 135 flight operations, with the expectation that the candidate resides within a two-hour call-out time of their home base or is willing to relocate.
About the Role
The Second in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. This role is responsible for preparing and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and established company procedures.

Qualifications

ATP (Unrestricted)

1st Class Medical Certificate

FCC Restricted Radio License

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license

Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.

Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
Essential Functions

Manage duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with company and Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs) requirements.

Maintain effective communication with the company for standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.

Maintain and manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.

Ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are kept current.

Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making skills.

Additional Requirements

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing as required, including testing for marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines for safety-sensitive functions.

Ability to successfully release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
