Pilot in Command (Midsize Jet) Job Description
The organization is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for its Midsize jet aircraft fleet. This pivotal role involves conducting safe and efficient flight operations under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and passenger service.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Midsize jet aircraft with paramount attention to safety and regulatory compliance, adhering strictly to Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations guidelines.
- Diligently manage all duty, flight, and rest periods to consistently meet the stringent requirements of both company policies and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintain proactive and effective communication with flight operations for all essential assignments, including standby duty notifications, trip assignments, accurate position calls, and comprehensive pre-flight and post-flight reports.
Minimum Experience Requirements
Prospective candidates must demonstrate a robust aviation background and meet the following minimum flight experience criteria:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time in Type: 250 hours
Location and Relocation
Candidates are expected to either currently reside or be willing to relocate to an area that allows for a maximum two-hour call-out time from their designated home base. This requirement ensures timely response and operational readiness for all flight assignments.
