Pilot in Command – Citation XLS/XLS+
Full-Time – Floater Position
Jet Linx is actively recruiting qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates for its Midsize jet aircraft fleet, encompassing both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. This full-time, floater position offers flexibility, allowing the successful candidate to reside anywhere with convenient airport access for commuting to company aircraft.
Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command is instrumental in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company aircraft in strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Total Time in Type (Citation XLS/XLS+): 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type (Citation XLS/XLS+): 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Effectively manage duty, flight, and rest periods to comply with all company and regulatory requirements (CFRs).
- Maintain proactive communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position updates, and pre- and post-flight reporting.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and management of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications.
- Verify that all navigation charts, essential publications, and company manuals are current and readily accessible.
- Possess and maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making capabilities.

Additional Requirements
- Preference will be given to candidates with recent (within the last 24 months) initial or recurrent 142 training in the Citation XLS/XLS+.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Driver's License.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Possession of a valid current U.S. Passport.
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, or the ability to obtain one.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Telephone Operator Permit.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and willingness to participate in random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to provide a release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience is required.
- The majority of work involves close proximity to aircraft and airport terminal environments.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx is pleased to offer a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package to its valued team members. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $200,000. The final base salary offered will be determined by factors such as geographic location, aircraft size, crew position requirements, and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience.
