Pilot in Command – Citation CJ4 Gen 2
Full-Time Position – Atlanta, GA
Jet Linx is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command for its Light jet fleet, supporting both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The ideal candidate will reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out radius of the assigned home base in Atlanta, GA.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of company aircraft operations. This role requires strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures, ensuring all flights are prepared and executed to the highest standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Essential Functions
The Pilot in Command performs critical duties including, but not limited to:
- Managing duty, flight, and rest periods in compliance with company policies and CFRs.
- Maintaining consistent communication with the company for standby assignments, trip notifications, position reporting, and submitting pre- and post-flight reports.
- Managing and ensuring the functionality and currency of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensuring all required navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and accessible.
- Maintaining a current First Class medical certificate.
- Demonstrating strong, proactive decision-making skills in all operational scenarios.
- Embodying Jet Linx’s core values in all professional interactions.
Other Requirements
Candidates should also meet the following criteria:
- Possession of Initial or Recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Possession of a current passport.
- Hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or demonstrate the ability to obtain one.
- Hold a First Class Medical Certificate.
- Hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and submit to random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally, including to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to consent to and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Willingness to work primarily in and around aircraft and aviation terminals.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently.
