SIMULATOR INSTRUCTOR – PERTH
Seeking a commercial pilot (current or retired).
Jet Flight Simulator Perth is a flight simulation centre in Bibra Lake, Western Australia.
Our fixed-based device is faithfully modelled on the Boeing 737 800 NG.
We mainly cater for those with no cockpit experience given the vast majority of our customers have received a gift voucher for their experience and are simply looking for a great time and definitely one to remember.
You will meet and greet customers on arrival (often with onlookers in-tow), and guide them through a basic introduction to aerodynamics and how aircraft fly, along with a brief cockpit rundown.
During their allotted time (usually 45 -120 minutes), you then get them into the air and back down again however many times you might feel appropriate, ensuring all there enjoy the spectacle that unfolds before them.
You can mix it up with different airports from around the world, different flying conditions and also different aircraft from within the database.
As your chief role is not of a professional flight instructor, striking that balance between imparting technical details with a sense of fun and adventure so they want to come back, is what will make you successful in the role.
Additionally however, from time to time, airline pilot applicants come in to practise approaches etc hence, you will competent and confident in assisting at this level as may be required.
