Position Summary
Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced and professional Lead Captain to oversee a Gulfstream G650 operation based in Hong Kong. This role balances operational leadership with active flight duties, acting as a primary liaison between the company, the flight crew, and the client. The Lead Captain is responsible for fostering a high-performing culture, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and client satisfaction. While carrying leadership responsibilities, the individual remains subject to the operational command of the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for each flight.
Main Responsibilities
Leadership & Client Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.

Manage crew recruitment, development, and performance, while fostering a collaborative team culture.

Mentor new Lead Captains and support internal crew integration.

Collaborate with Flight Operations, Crew Planning, and Client Aviation Services to ensure operational alignment.
Operational Oversight

Oversee crew scheduling, training, and annual leave planning.

Review and approve aircraft-related invoices, expenses, and crew claims.

Support complex trip planning and monitor regulatory compliance and aircraft documentation.
Flight Duties

Execute safe and efficient aircraft operations in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual (FOM) and regulatory requirements.

Ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and the aircraft during all flight phases.

Maintain accurate operational records and act as a professional ambassador for Jet Aviation.
Minimum Requirements

Valid FAA or EASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) or equivalent.

Current Gulfstream G650 Type Rating with demonstrated operational experience.

Currency sufficient to meet all commercial regulatory and operational requirements.

Proven leadership experience within a corporate or managed aircraft environment.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of engaging with high-profile clients.

Demonstrated ability to make sound operational decisions and maintain composure in dynamic environments.
