G650ER Captain
Jet Aviation, a global leader in aviation services since 1967, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Captain for a G650ER aircraft, based in either Stuart, FL, or Rifle, CO. As Pilot in Command, the Captain reports to the Lead Captain and is responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flights, with paramount emphasis on safety, security, and quality. The Captain exercises Pilot in Command authority and holds final authority for the safe execution of each flight.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the aircraft, determine departure times and routes, and/or cancel flights based on prevailing conditions.
- Ensure complete compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Institute necessary changes dictated by en route conditions to maintain compliance with company standards.
- Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to industry and company standards.
- Accurately complete all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
- Ensure a thorough understanding with the Second in Command regarding all aspects of the flight.
- Record aircraft discrepancies and report them to the Director of Maintenance or designee. Determine if discrepancies can be deferred per the MEL or require immediate repair.
- Ensure flight crew reports for duty in proper attire and is mentally and physically fit for duty.
- Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems, including emergency systems and procedures.
- Secure the aircraft after each flight, arranging hangar storage as needed or instructed.
- Obtain current weather reports, forecasts, and NOTAMS.
- File or cause a flight plan to be filed with the FAA or an ICAO state ATC facility.
- Analyze area, enroute, and terminal charts for the airport of intended landing and alternates.
- Perform the functions of the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under applicable security programs.
- Conduct passenger safety briefings or assign the duty to the Second in Command.
- Impart knowledge and skills to the Second in Command to prepare them to assume Pilot in Command duties.
- Complete and send the leg manifest to operations control prior to each departure.
- Complete and send the End of Day (EOD) report to operations control upon completion of each flight day.
- Actively support the open sharing of information on all safety issues and report all safety hazards and concerns.
- Immediately report any hazardous action, conduct, or event to the Chief Pilot and Director of Safety.
- Represent Jet Aviation internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
- Other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- 4000 hours Total Fixed Wing flight time.
- 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land flight time.
- 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command flight time.
- 1500 hours Turbojet flight time.
- 1500 Turbine flight time.
- 100 hours Night flight time.
- 75 hours Actual or Simulated Instrument flight time.
- 5 years of aviation experience.
- Ability to work flexible schedules.
- Willingness and ability to travel worldwide extensively without restrictions.
- Valid driver’s license.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $290,000 - $310,000, commensurate with experience, geographic location, and other requirements.
