Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
- Command Flight Operations: Exercise ultimate authority and responsibility as Pilot-in-Command for all assigned Gulfstream V flights, making critical decisions to ensure unwavering safety and strict compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of all Gulfstream V aircraft systems, operating with precision, expertly managing flight plans, and adapting swiftly to dynamic conditions to guarantee a seamless and superior travel experience.
- Crew Leadership and Mentorship: Collaborate closely with the Second in Command, actively imparting knowledge and skills to foster professional development and prepare them for future leadership roles.
- Champion Safety and Security: Perform the functions of the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) in accordance with the 12.5 standard security program or private charter standard security program, as applicable. Conduct essential passenger safety briefings or delegate this duty to the Second in Command. Proactively support open communication on safety issues, diligently report hazards, and uphold Jet Aviation’s steadfast commitment to a secure operational environment. Meticulously record and report all aircraft discrepancies as they arise.
- Provide Administrative Diligence: Manage all trip documentation, maintain current aircraft manuals, and meticulously complete accurate trip paperwork in adherence to company procedures.
- Represent the Brand: Serve as a distinguished representative of Jet Aviation, consistently demonstrating professionalism and unwavering dedication to the company's mission of delivering unparalleled aviation service.
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
Required Qualifications:
- Expert Airman Credentials: Possess an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate and a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Extensive Flight Experience: A minimum of 3,500 hours total fixed-wing flight time, including:
- 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command.
- 1,500 hours multi-engine flight time.
- 500 hours turbojet flight time.
- 500 hours turbine flight time.
- 100 hours night flight time.
- 75 hours simulated instrument flight time.
- Operational Flexibility: Demonstrated ability to work a variable schedule to accommodate diverse flight mission profiles.
- Global Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
- Education: A high school diploma is required.
- Licensing: Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Work Environment & Physical Demands (What You'll Experience)
- Physical Requirements: The role involves tasks requiring regular use of hands, standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting, is expected. Maintenance of sharp vision across various ranges and depths is essential.
- Dynamic Work Setting: Operations will occur in diverse environments, ranging from heavy maintenance areas to upscale customer spaces. The role encompasses the dynamic atmosphere of aircraft arrivals and departures, which may include occasional high noise levels, vibrations, and exposure to fuel fumes. Adaptability to changing weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes within hangar settings is also necessary.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: The anticipated annual salary range for this Captain position is $250,000 to $255,000. It is important to note that this range is not a guaranteed offer of compensation, and the final salary will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
