Jet Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced G550 Captain to contribute to its esteemed Flight Services division. This pivotal role is based in Singapore and offers a flexible, remote work arrangement. The Captain is responsible for upholding the utmost standards of flight safety and operational integrity, ensuring client satisfaction, and adhering to all regulatory requirements. This position reports directly to the Director of Flight Operations.

Position Summary

The G550 Captain will oversee aircraft operations, maintain exemplary standards of flight safety and operational procedures, ensure strict compliance with all aviation regulations, and deliver exceptional professional services to Jet Aviation's distinguished clientele. This role is integral to the smooth and safe execution of all flight operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
  • Verifying compliance with all operational procedures and checklists as stipulated in the Flight Operations Manual (FOM).
  • Confirming that all crew members are in their designated stations prior to take-off, final approach, and landing.
  • Prohibiting any crew member from engaging in activities unrelated to the safe operation of the aircraft during critical flight phases (take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing).
  • Ensuring that flight data and cockpit voice recorders are not disabled or erased, unless required for incident or accident investigation and retention is necessary.
  • Coordinating flight crew responsibilities to achieve maximum airmanship for optimal flight conduct.
  • Maintaining precise navigation and diligent observance of minimum altitudes.
  • Adhering to all aircraft system limitations and ensuring the proper use and handling of the aircraft.
  • Enforcing the strict utilization of checklists.
  • Confirming that sufficient usable fuel is available to reach an airport capable of a safe landing, with the final reserve fuel intact.
  • Maintaining close communication with cabin crew to ensure all cabin safety requirements are met.
  • Ensuring the accurate completion of flight and technical logs.
  • Filing written occurrence and accident reports when necessary.
  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of relevant aviation regulations, Jet Aviation's operations manuals, and agreed aviation practices.
  • Upholding a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of the company.
  • Complying with regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
  • Ensuring all passengers receive comprehensive briefings on emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
  • Representing Jet Aviation positively both internally and externally, engaging with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.

Minimum Requirements

  • A valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a G550 type rating (FAA or EASA).
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
  • A minimum of 500 hours of flight experience on the G550 type.
  • Experience with Air Operator Certificate (AOC) operations.

Exposure to vibration is frequent, and occasional fuel fumes may be present. The role requires a willingness and ability to work in diverse weather conditions. The noise level in certain work areas can be loud, and hangar environments may experience extreme temperatures during different seasons.
