Position Summary
Jet Aviation is seeking a professional, flexible, and highly motivated G550 Captain for a permanent position. The Captain exercises ultimate authority over the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and serves as a distinguished representative of the company. This pivotal role holds full responsibility for the safety and well-being of all crew members, passengers, and cargo on board throughout every phase of a flight.
Main Responsibilities
- Guaranteeing the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo on board.
- Ensuring all passengers are thoroughly briefed on the location of emergency exits and the use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
- Adhering strictly to all operational procedures and checklists in accordance with the provisions of the Operations Manual.
- Coordinating work distribution within the flight crew to achieve the highest standards of airmanship and operational excellence.
- Ensuring the precise navigation of the aircraft and strict observance of minimum altitudes.
- Operating the aircraft within all system limitations and ensuring the proper use and handling of all equipment.
- Enforcing the diligent use of checklists for all flight phases.
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with cabin crew to ensure all cabin safety requirements are met.
- Completing and maintaining accurate flight and technical logs and filing written occurrence reports as necessary.
- Maintaining current and comprehensive knowledge of relevant aviation regulations and company operational manuals.
- Upholding a superior standard of discipline, professional conduct, and personal appearance as a representative of the company.
- Representing Jet Aviation with integrity when interacting with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
Minimum Requirements
- Holder of a valid FAA or EASA pilot license.
- Current G550 type rating.
- A minimum of 500 hours on type.
- Verifiable experience in AOC (Air Operator Certificate) operations.
