Captain G700 (Singapore based)
Jet Aviation is reinforcing its Flight Services team in Singapore and is seeking a highly skilled Captain to join its operations. This pivotal role is responsible for delivering exceptional flight operations, ensuring the highest standards of flight safety, operational performance, and regulatory compliance. The Captain will provide a seamless and professional experience for clients while ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flights. Reporting directly to the Director of Flight Operations, the Captain will be an integral part of a team committed to excellence, innovation, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
The Captain is entrusted with the overall command and safety of the aircraft, crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard. This includes:
- Ensuring strict compliance with all operational procedures and checklists as stipulated in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Verifying that all crew members are at their designated stations during critical flight phases including take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing.
- Restricting crew member activities during critical flight phases solely to duties required for the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Safeguarding flight data and cockpit voice recorder data, preventing disabling or erasure unless necessary for incident/accident investigation where data preservation is required.
- Coordinating work distribution within the flight crew to maximize airmanship and ensure optimal flight conduct.
- Executing precise navigation and diligently observing minimum safe altitudes.
- Operating the aircraft within the limitations of all aircraft systems and ensuring proper use and handling.
- Enforcing the strict and consistent use of checklists.
- Confirming that sufficient usable fuel remains to proceed to an airport where a safe landing can be performed, retaining the final reserve fuel.
- Maintaining close coordination with the cabin crew to ensure all requirements concerning cabin safety are followed.
- Ensuring accurate and complete technical and flight logs are maintained.
- Filing necessary written occurrence and accident reports should the situation arise.
- Maintaining current familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, company operations manuals (JBJH/JBJS FOM), and agreed aviation practices pertinent to the function.
- Maintaining a high standard of discipline, conduct, and professional appearance as a representative of the company.
- Complying fully with regulations contained in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensuring all passengers receive a comprehensive briefing on the location of emergency exits and the proper location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
- Representing Jet Aviation effectively both internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A desirable Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a type rating for the Gulfstream G700 (FAA, UK, or EASA).
- Consideration will be given to pilots holding G500 or G600 type ratings, or those with substantial experience on large cabin corporate aircraft, including Gulfstream, Bombardier, or Dassault platforms.
- More than 200 hours of flight time on the specific aircraft type (or relevant large cabin corporate jet experience).
- Willingness and ability to relocate to Singapore.
