G550 Captain

The Flight Services team is currently seeking a skilled and experienced G550 Captain to join their team in Hong Kong. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a pilot to lead aircraft operations with precision, ensuring the highest standards of safety and service within an elite team. The Captain will be responsible for operating the G550 fleet, providing exceptional experiences for clients while maintaining the highest standards of flight safety and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Director of Flight Operations, the G550 Captain will be at the forefront of delivering world-class business aviation services.
Responsibilities:
The G550 Captain's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Ensuring compliance with all operational procedures and checklists in accordance with the provisions of the Operations Manual FOM.
- Ensuring all crew members occupy their stations prior to take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibiting any crew member from performing non-essential activities during critical flight phases (take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing).
- Ensuring flight data and cockpit voice recorders are not disabled or erased, except when necessary to conserve data for accident/incident investigation.
- Coordinating work distribution within the flight crew to achieve maximum airmanship for flight conduct.
- Ensuring precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitudes.
- Observing limitations of all aircraft systems and ensuring proper use and handling of the aircraft.
- Enforcing the strict use of checklists.
- Ensuring sufficient usable fuel remains to proceed to a safe landing airport with final reserve fuel remaining.
- Maintaining close contact with the cabin crew to ensure compliance with cabin safety requirements.
- Ensuring the completion of flight and technical logs.
- Filing written occurrence and accident reports if required.
- Maintaining familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, company operations manuals (JBJH/JBJS), and agreed aviation practices.
- Maintaining a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a company representative.
- Complying with regulations contained in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensuring passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a G550 type rating (FAA, UK, or EASA).
- Minimum of 3,000 total flight hours, including at least 500 hours on G550 or similar jet aircraft.
- Experience as a Captain on a business jet is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, aviation regulations, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in international flying and adverse weather conditions.
- Current Class 1 medical certificate.
