Position Summary
The First Officer reports directly to the assigned Pilot-In-Command and plays a crucial role in the safe and efficient conduct of flights aboard the Falcon 900EX EASy aircraft.
Minimum Requirements
- Must possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with the appropriate Aircraft Type Rating for the Falcon 900EX EASy.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 2,500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time.
- Minimum of 500 hours of multi-engine fixed-wing flight time.
- Minimum of 500 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) fixed-wing flight time.
- Minimum of 100 hours of turbojet flight time.
- At least 3 years of overall aviation experience.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules is essential.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide without restriction.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide essential support to the Pilot-in-Command in ensuring the safe conduct of all flights.
- Adhere to and uphold company-wide reporting protocols, promptly reporting any hazardous events.
- Develop leadership skills, knowledge, judgment, and technical proficiency required for a Pilot-in-Command, if not already qualified.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all aircraft systems, including emergency systems and procedures relevant to the aircraft.
- Secure the aircraft after each flight, including arranging for hangar storage when deemed necessary or instructed by company management.
- Obtain the most current weather reports, forecasts, and NOTAMs from authorized agencies.
- File or ensure the filing of flight plans with the FAA or an ICAO state ATC facility.
- Analyze enroute and terminal charts for the intended landing airport and alternates.
- Perform the duties of the In-flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as required by applicable security programs.
- Conduct mandatory passenger safety briefings.
- Execute additional duties as assigned by the Pilot-In-Command.
- Represent Jet Aviation professionally both internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.

This role operates within a dynamic environment that can include heavy maintenance areas and upscale customer zones. The noise level is typically moderate, with occasional high volumes during aircraft arrivals and departures. Employees may be exposed to vibration, occasional fuel fumes, and must be prepared to work in all weather conditions. The hangar environment may experience extreme temperatures during different seasons.
