Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced Captain to command a Gulfstream G700 aircraft based in San Jose, California. This role involves leading a professional crew in an elite private and business aviation operation, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, and delivering exceptional client experiences on domestic and global routes.

About the Role

The Captain is responsible for the overall command and safe operation of the Gulfstream 700. Key duties include making critical decisions in compliance with regulations, managing flight plans, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, and adapting to changing operational conditions. The role also encompasses fulfilling In-Flight Security Coordinator functions, conducting passenger briefings, fostering open safety communication, reporting hazards, and managing all trip documentation and paperwork while professionally representing Jet Aviation.

Requirements

• Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP Restricted or Unrestricted).
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• 3,500 hours total fixed-wing flight time.
• 1,500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) flight time.
• 1,500 hours multi-engine flight time.
• 500 hours turbo-jet flight time.
• 500 hours turbine flight time.
• 100 hours night flight time.
• 75 hours simulated instrument flight time.
• High school diploma.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.

Qualifications

• An appropriate aircraft type rating and currency for the G700 is preferred.
• A college degree is considered a differentiating credential.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are highly valued.
