About the Role
Jet Aviation seeks a Lead Captain to command the safe and efficient operation of Global 8000 aircraft for flight assignments based in Miami, Florida. Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Five years of aviation experience
- 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time
- 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
- 1,500 hours Multi-Engine time
- 500 hours Turbo-Jet time
- 500 hours Turbine time
- 100 hours Night time
- 75 hours Simulated Instrument time
- Ability to work a variable schedule
- Willingness to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions

About the Role
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all assigned flights
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections
- File flight plans
- Analyze weather and route conditions
- Mentor and guide crew members
- Conduct performance reviews
- Coordinate schedules and training
- Maintain a complete working knowledge of aircraft systems
- Manage flight plans and adapt to changing conditions
- Promote a strong safety culture
- Conduct passenger briefings
- Address aircraft discrepancies with maintenance teams
- Manage trip documentation
- Maintain aircraft manuals
