Position Summary
Jet Aviation is seeking a professional and experienced Lead Captain for the Gulfstream 700. This role entails serving as the Pilot in Command (PIC) for assigned flights, maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and operational quality. The Lead Captain acts as a brand ambassador, demonstrating leadership and mentorship while ensuring a seamless, high-end travel experience for clients.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all assigned flights, including pre-flight/post-flight inspections and weather/route analysis.

Provide mentorship and professional development guidance to crew members.

Coordinate crew schedules and training to maintain operational continuity.

Manage administrative duties, including trip documentation, manual maintenance, and support for crew recruitment.

Champion a strong safety culture and collaborate with maintenance teams to address aircraft discrepancies.

Represent Jet Aviation with professionalism in all internal and external interactions.
Candidate Requirements

Certifications:
Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical.

Experience:
Minimum five years of aviation experience with 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time. This must include 1,500 hours PIC, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night, and 75 hours Simulated Instrument.

Education:
High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Compliance:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Flexibility:
Ability to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with a commitment to integrity, discretion, and excellence.
Working Environment and Physical Demands

Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching.

Work environments range from maintenance hangars to upscale customer spaces; exposure to noise, vibration, fuel fumes, and varying weather/temperature conditions is possible.
Compensation and Benefits
