Position Summary

Jet Aviation is seeking a highly professional Captain for the Gulfstream 700 to operate in an elite private aviation environment. The Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, ensuring compliance with all safety, security, and quality standards while providing exceptional service to discerning clientele. This role requires a dedicated leader who serves as a brand ambassador, upholding the company’s core values of trust, honesty, alignment, and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Command all assigned flights, ensuring safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to operate with precision and manage flight plans effectively.
  • Serve as the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the Twelve Five Standard Security Program or Private Charter Standard Security Program.
  • Conduct passenger safety briefings and manage all required trip documentation and aircraft manuals.
  • Report aircraft discrepancies and actively contribute to a culture of safety by reporting hazards.
  • Represent Jet Aviation with professionalism and a commitment to service excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
  • FAA First Class Medical.
  • Total fixed-wing time: 3,500 hours.
  • Pilot in Command time: 1,500 hours.
  • Multi-Engine time: 1,500 hours.
  • Turbo-Jet time: 500 hours.
  • Turbine time: 500 hours.
  • Night flight time: 100 hours.
  • Simulated instrument time: 75 hours.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree.
  • Appropriate aircraft type rating and currency.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Candidates must be capable of frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, kneeling, and crouching. The role requires sharp vision across various ranges. The work environment varies from maintenance hangars to upscale customer spaces, involving exposure to high noise levels, vibrations, fuel fumes, and changing seasonal temperatures.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $360,000 to $415,000, determined by experience and geographic location. Jet Aviation provides a comprehensive benefits package, including:
