Position Summary
Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced Captain to command the Gulfstream 700. This role requires a professional who embodies precision, leadership, and discretion. The Captain will hold full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, leading a crew while delivering an exceptional experience for discerning clientele across domestic and global routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Command: Take command of all assigned flights, ensuring safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to ensure precise operations, effective flight planning, and adaptability to changing conditions.
- Safety and Compliance: Serve as the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the relevant security program. Conduct passenger safety briefings, report hazards, and manage all aircraft discrepancies.
- Administrative Excellence: Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately according to company procedures.
- Brand Representation: Act as a Jet Aviation ambassador, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to service excellence.
Requirements
- Credentials: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical.
- Flight Experience: 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night, and 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
- Education: High school diploma.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Availability: Ability to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree.
- Relevant aircraft type rating and currency.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities handled with integrity and discretion.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting.
- Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting, climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
- Must maintain sharp vision across various ranges and depths.
- Work environments range from maintenance hangars to upscale customer spaces, with potential exposure to high noise levels, vibrations, fuel fumes, and varying seasonal temperatures.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $360,000 to $415,000, determined by experience, location, and other relevant factors.
