Position Overview

Jet Aviation is seeking a professional Captain to command operations for the Gulfstream 450 in an elite private aviation environment. This role requires a leader capable of ensuring the safe and efficient operation of state-of-the-art aircraft while delivering an exceptional experience for discerning clientele. The successful candidate will navigate domestic and global routes, uphold rigorous safety standards, and act as a brand ambassador for Jet Aviation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take command of assigned flights, ensuring full compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to manage flight plans and adapt to changing operational conditions.
  • Serve as the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the relevant security program.
  • Conduct passenger safety briefings or delegate to the Second in Command.
  • Report aircraft discrepancies and actively support a culture of safety and transparent communication.
  • Manage trip documentation, aircraft manuals, and administrative paperwork.
  • Represent Jet Aviation with professionalism, integrity, and discretion.

Required Qualifications

  • Certifications: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical.
  • Experience: Minimum 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night, and 75 hours Simulated Instrument time.
  • Education: High school diploma.
  • License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Availability: Ability to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restriction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree.
  • Appropriate aircraft type rating and currency.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

The role requires the ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, and crouching. Candidates must be capable of frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. The work environment varies from maintenance hangars to upscale customer settings and includes exposure to occasional high noise levels, vibrations, fuel fumes, and varying weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $250,000 – $290,000, determined by experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
