Position Summary
Jet Aviation is seeking a professional and dedicated Lead Captain for the Augusta AW139. As the Pilot in Command (PIC), the Lead Captain is entrusted with the safe, efficient, and professional operation of flight assignments. This role demands exceptional leadership, mentorship, and a commitment to representing Jet Aviation as a brand ambassador while fostering a culture of excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure the safe operation of all assigned flights, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, flight planning, and weather analysis.

Provide mentorship and professional development to crew members, including coordinating schedules and training.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to operate with precision and adapt to changing conditions.

Promote a rigorous safety culture through adherence to best practices, passenger briefings, and coordination with maintenance teams regarding aircraft discrepancies.

Manage administrative duties, including trip documentation, aircraft manual maintenance, and support for crew hiring processes.
Candidate Requirements

Certifications:
Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical.

Experience:
Minimum of five years of aviation experience, including 2,500 hours of total flight time (1,500 helicopter hours and 500 Turbo-Jet hours).

Education:
High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Licensing:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Operational Readiness:
Ability to work a variable, flexible schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.

Skills:
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; proactive problem-solving ability with high integrity.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Candidates must be capable of performing tasks requiring standing, walking, sitting, climbing, kneeling, or crouching. The role requires the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. The work environment varies from maintenance hangars to upscale customer spaces, involving potential exposure to high noise levels, vibrations, fuel fumes, and varying weather conditions.
Compensation and Benefits
