Position Summary

Jet Aviation is seeking a professional Captain to command the Augusta AW139 in an elite private aviation environment. The Captain holds full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, providing leadership to the crew and ensuring an exceptional experience for discerning clientele. The successful candidate will navigate diverse routes, maintain strict safety standards, and act as a brand ambassador for Jet Aviation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead flight operations, ensuring compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to manage flight plans and operational conditions.
  • Serve as the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the Twelve Five Standard Security Program or Private Charter Standard Security Program.
  • Conduct passenger safety briefings and ensure a secure cabin environment.
  • Manage trip documentation, aircraft manuals, and reporting of aircraft discrepancies.
  • Represent Jet Aviation with professionalism and a commitment to service excellence.

Requirements

  • Certifications: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical.
  • Flight Experience: 2,500 hours total time, including 1,500 helicopter hours and 500 turbine hours.
  • Education: High school diploma.
  • Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a variable schedule to meet mission profiles and willingness to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree.
  • Appropriate aircraft type rating and currency.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving capabilities and a commitment to integrity and discretion.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

The role requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. Candidates must be comfortable working in diverse environments, ranging from maintenance hangars to upscale customer spaces, involving potential exposure to noise, vibration, fuel fumes, and varying weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $175,000 to $200,000, determined by experience and geographic location.
