Jet Aviation is seeking experienced pilots to join its elite private aviation team as Aircraft Captains. This role offers the opportunity to command state-of-the-art aircraft, lead professional crews, and ensure exceptional experiences for discerning clientele.

Position Summary

The Aircraft Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of aircraft on domestic and global routes. This position requires strong leadership, adaptability, and the ability to uphold the highest standards of safety, service, and professionalism. The Captain will represent Jet Aviation, a brand built on trust, luxury, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Command all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of aircraft systems to operate with precision, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Perform the functions of the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as applicable and conduct required passenger safety briefings.
  • Support open communication on safety issues, report hazards, and uphold the company's commitment to a secure environment.
  • Record and report all aircraft discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork.
  • Represent Jet Aviation, showcasing professionalism and dedication to delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
  • FAA First Class Medical
  • 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time
  • 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command
  • 1,500 hours Multi-Engine
  • 500 hours Turbo-Jet
  • 500 hours Turbine
  • 100 hours Night
  • 75 hours Simulated Instrument
  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Appropriate Aircraft type rating and currency

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for collaboration.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of the aviation industry.
  • Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.

Working Conditions

  • Physical requirements include regular use of hands, standing, walking, sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. Sharp vision across various ranges and depths is necessary.
  • Work environment involves a variety of settings, from maintenance areas to customer spaces, with dynamic atmosphere, occasional high noise levels, vibrations, and exposure to fuel fumes. Adaptability to changing weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes is required.

Schedule and Travel

  • Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles.
  • Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.

Compensation and Benefits

Anticipated salary range: $250,000 - $290,000, subject to experience, location, and other relevant factors.
