Position Overview
Jet Aviation seeks an experienced Captain to command a Gulfstream 550 aircraft in a private aviation environment. This role involves full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, leadership of the flight crew, and ensuring an exceptional experience for discerning clientele. The Captain will navigate domestic and global routes, adapt to changing conditions, and uphold the highest standards of safety, service, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Command assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems for precise operation, flight plan management, and adaptation to changing conditions.
- Perform duties as In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as required by security programs.
- Conduct or assign passenger safety briefings.
- Actively support open communication on safety issues, report hazards, and uphold the company's commitment to a secure environment.
- Record and report all aircraft discrepancies as they occur.
- Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork according to company procedures.
- Represent Jet Aviation, demonstrating professionalism and dedication to delivering exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate required.
- FAA First Class Medical required.
- Minimum of 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours Multi-Engine.
- Minimum of 500 hours Turbo-Jet.
- Minimum of 500 hours Turbine.
- Minimum of 100 hours Night.
- Minimum of 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
- High school diploma required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Appropriate Aircraft type rating and currency.
- Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles.
- Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.

Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $275,000 to $285,000. This range is not a guaranteed offer of compensation. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
