Job Summary

Jet Aviation seeks an experienced Captain to command Gulfstream 500/600 aircraft in an elite private aviation environment. This role involves full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of state-of-the-art aircraft, leading a professional crew, and ensuring an exceptional experience for discerning clientele. The Captain will navigate domestic and global routes, adapt to changing conditions, and uphold the highest standards of safety, service, and professionalism, representing Jet Aviation as a Brand Ambassador.

Responsibilities

  • Command all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain complete working knowledge of aircraft systems to operate with precision, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Perform functions of the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as applicable.
  • Conduct passenger safety briefings or assign the duty to the second in command.
  • Support open communication on safety issues, report hazards, and uphold Jet Aviation’s commitment to a secure environment.
  • Record and report all aircraft discrepancies.
  • Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork.
  • Represent Jet Aviation, showcasing professionalism and dedication to delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate required.
  • FAA First Class Medical required.
  • 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time.
  • 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command.
  • 1,500 hours Multi-Engine.
  • 500 hours Turbo-Jet.
  • 500 hours Turbine.
  • 100 hours Night.
  • 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles.
  • Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Appropriate Aircraft type rating and currency.
  • College degree preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Perform tasks requiring regular use of hands, standing, walking, sitting.

  • Maintain sharp vision across various ranges and depths.
  • Operate in a variety of environments, from heavy maintenance areas to upscale customer spaces.
  • Experience dynamic atmospheres of aircraft operations, including occasional high noise levels, vibrations, and exposure to fuel fumes.
  • Adapt to changing weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes in hangar settings.
