Position Summary

As a Captain at Jet Aviation, the incumbent will command private aviation missions with a focus on precision, leadership, and discretion. The Captain bears ultimate responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of state-of-the-art aircraft while ensuring an exceptional travel experience for discerning clientele. This role requires an aviator who thrives under pressure, upholds the highest safety standards, and acts as a brand ambassador, embodying the core values of trust, honesty, alignment, and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Command: Take full command of assigned flights, ensuring strict compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations.
• Safety and Compliance: Act as the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the Twelve-Five or Private Charter Standard Security Programs. Conduct passenger safety briefings, report all hazards, and maintain accurate records of aircraft discrepancies.
• Technical Excellence: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to manage flight plans effectively and adapt to changing operational conditions.
• Administrative Duties: Oversee all trip documentation, maintain required aircraft manuals, and ensure all paperwork meets company standards.
• Client Relations: Represent the Jet Aviation brand with professionalism, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for all passengers.

Candidate Requirements

• Certifications: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical.
• Experience: 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time; 1,500 hours Pilot in Command; 1,500 hours Multi-Engine; 500 hours Turbo-Jet; 500 hours Turbine; 100 hours Night; 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
• Education: High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Compliance: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Operational Readiness: Ability to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail. Candidates with appropriate aircraft type ratings and currency will be highly regarded.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires regular use of hands, walking, sitting, and standing. The Captain must be capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting. The work environment includes exposure to varied settings, from upscale customer terminals to hangar environments, which may involve noise, vibrations, fuel fumes, and seasonal temperature extremes.

Compensation and Benefits
