Position Summary

Jet Aviation is seeking an exceptional Captain to command the skies within an elite private aviation environment. This pivotal role demands precision, leadership, and discretion on every mission. The Captain assumes full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of state-of-the-art aircraft, leading a professional crew and ensuring an unparalleled experience for discerning clientele. The successful candidate will expertly navigate a variety of domestic and global routes, demonstrate adaptability to changing conditions, and consistently uphold the highest standards of safety, service, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead with Confidence: Command all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure paramount safety and unwavering compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
  • Deliver Operational Excellence: Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of all aircraft systems to operate with precision, skillfully manage flight plans, and adeptly adapt to changing conditions, thereby guaranteeing a seamless travel experience.
  • Champion Safety & Compliance: Perform the functions of the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as applicable under relevant security programs. The Captain will conduct or assign required passenger safety briefings, actively support open communication on safety issues, report hazards, and uphold Jet Aviation’s steadfast commitment to a secure environment. All aircraft discrepancies must be recorded and reported promptly as they occur.
  • Ensure Administrative Excellence: Meticulously manage trip documentation, maintain current aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork in strict accordance with company procedures.
  • Represent the Brand: Serve as the distinguished face of Jet Aviation, consistently showcasing professionalism and unwavering dedication to the mission of delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Expert Credentials: Possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and a current FAA First Class Medical.
  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night, and 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrated ability to work a variable schedule to meet demanding flight mission profiles.
  • Global Readiness: Willingness to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • License Requirements: Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Physical Requirements: The role requires regular use of hands, standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting, is necessary. The Captain must maintain sharp vision across various ranges and depths.
  • Work Environment: The Captain will operate in diverse environments, ranging from heavy maintenance areas to upscale customer spaces. This includes experiencing the dynamic atmosphere of aircraft arrivals and departures, occasional exposure to high noise levels, vibrations, and fuel fumes. Adaptability to changing weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes in hangar settings is essential.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $220,000 to $250,000. Please be advised that this range is not a guaranteed offer of compensation. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
