Key Responsibilities ("What the Captain Will Accomplish")

• Lead with Confidence: Command all assigned Gulfstream 550 flights, making critical decisions to ensure paramount safety and strict compliance with federal, local, and company regulations governing private and corporate aviation operations.
• Deliver Operational Excellence: Maintain a comprehensive and current working knowledge of all aircraft systems to operate with utmost precision, effectively manage intricate flight plans, and proactively adapt to changing conditions, thereby guaranteeing a seamless, secure, and luxurious travel experience.
• Champion Safety & Compliance: Execute the functions of the Inflight TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the provisions of the twelve-five standard security program or private charter standard security program, as applicable. Conduct or appropriately assign required passenger safety briefings. Actively support and foster open communication on safety issues, diligently report hazards, and steadfastly uphold Jet Aviation’s unwavering commitment to a secure operational environment. Promptly record and report all aircraft discrepancies.
• Provide Administrative Excellence: Meticulously manage all trip documentation, ensure the continuous maintenance of current aircraft manuals, and accurately complete all required trip paperwork in strict accordance with established company procedures.

Qualifications

Required Credentials and Extensive Experience:

• Expert Credentials: Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate and a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
• Proven Flight Experience: The candidate must demonstrate significant flight time, including:
  • 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time
  • 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
  • 1,500 hours Multi-Engine time
  • 500 hours Turbo-Jet time
  • 500 hours Turbine time
  • 100 hours Night flight time
  • 75 hours Simulated Instrument time
• Operational Flexibility: Demonstrated ability to work a variable schedule, including irregular hours and weekends, to meet demanding and dynamic flight mission profiles.
• Global Readiness: Willingness and demonstrated ability to travel extensively worldwide without any restrictions.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensure: A valid driver’s license with a consistently clean driving record is essential.
