Job Summary

Jet Aviation is seeking an exceptional and experienced Captain for its state-of-the-art Gulfstream 280 operations based in Sellersburg, Indiana. This premier opportunity calls for a highly skilled aviator to assume full command and responsibility for the safe, efficient, and discreet operation of private jet missions. The Captain will lead a professional flight crew, ensuring unparalleled safety standards and delivering an exceptional travel experience for discerning clientele across diverse domestic and global routes. Key Responsibilities

The Captain's primary responsibilities include:

• Commanding all assigned Gulfstream 280 flights, making critical decisions to ensure strict adherence to federal, local, and company regulations and safety protocols.
• Maintaining comprehensive expertise in all aircraft systems to execute precise operations, manage intricate flight plans, and adapt proactively to changing conditions, thereby guaranteeing a seamless travel experience.
• Collaborating closely with the Second in Command, providing mentorship and fostering professional development to prepare them for future leadership roles within the flight department.
• Acting as the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as applicable, performing required passenger safety briefings, and actively championing a proactive safety culture by reporting hazards and documenting all aircraft discrepancies.
• Ensuring administrative excellence by meticulously managing trip documentation, maintaining up-to-date aircraft manuals, and accurately completing all required trip paperwork in accordance with company standards.
• Serving as a distinguished brand ambassador for Jet Aviation, consistently demonstrating professionalism and unwavering dedication to the company's mission of delivering exceptional service and luxury aviation experiences.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Candidates for this Captain position must demonstrate an exemplary record of aviation expertise and meet the following essential qualifications:

• Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP) and an FAA First Class Medical certificate.
• A minimum of 3,500 hours total fixed-wing flight time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC), 1,500 hours multi-engine time, 500 hours turbojet, 500 hours turbine, 100 hours night flight, and 75 hours of simulated instrument time.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to accommodate a variable flight schedule dictated by mission profiles.
• Unrestricted global travel readiness and willingness to undertake extensive international assignments.
• A high school diploma is required.
• A valid driver's license.

• Possession of an appropriate Gulfstream 280 Aircraft Type Rating and currency.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

The role involves operating in a dynamic aviation environment, including upscale customer areas and maintenance hangars. The Captain will experience occasional high noise levels, vibrations, and exposure to fuel fumes, while adapting to varying weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes. Physical requirements include regular use of hands, standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. The ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting, and maintain sharp vision across various ranges and depths is essential. This position requires significant global travel, embodying Jet Aviation's worldwide reach and commitment to service excellence.

Compensation & Benefits

Jet Aviation offers a highly competitive compensation package. The anticipated salary range for this Captain position is $230,000 to $250,000, determined by the candidate's experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
