Position Summary
Jet Aviation is seeking a professional and experienced Captain for the Gulfstream 550. The Captain serves as the Pilot in Command, holding ultimate responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. This role requires an individual who embodies leadership, discretion, and a commitment to excellence while ensuring an exceptional experience for discerning clientele in a private aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities

Take command of all assigned flights, ensuring safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to manage flight plans and adapt to operational conditions.

Collaborate with and mentor the Second in Command.

Serve as the In-flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as required by security programs and conduct passenger safety briefings.

Report aircraft discrepancies and maintain accurate trip documentation and aircraft manuals.

Represent the Jet Aviation brand with professionalism and dedication.
Candidate Requirements

Certifications:
Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical.

Flight Experience:
3,500 hours total fixed-wing time; 1,500 hours Pilot in Command; 1,500 hours multi-engine; 500 hours turbojet; 500 hours turbine; 100 hours night; 75 hours Simulated Instrument.

Education:
High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Licensing:
Valid driver’s license.

Operational Readiness:
Must be able to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications:
Appropriate Aircraft Type Rating and currency, along with strong interpersonal, communication, and management skills.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
This role involves frequent use of hands, standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Candidates must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. The work environment varies from maintenance hangars to customer-facing spaces, involving exposure to dynamic flight operations, noise, vibrations, and weather extremes.
Compensation and Benefits
