Jet Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain to command a Gulfstream G550 aircraft. This onsite position, located in Morristown, NJ, offers a unique opportunity to operate within an elite private aviation environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Assume full command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all aircraft systems to ensure precise operation, effective flight plan management, and adaptability to changing conditions for a seamless travel experience.
  • Collaborate closely with the Second in Command, providing mentorship and guidance to foster their professional development.
  • Serve as the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC), conducting required passenger safety briefings or delegating appropriately, and actively promoting open communication regarding safety issues, hazard reporting, and maintaining a secure flight environment.
  • Record and report all aircraft discrepancies accurately and promptly.
  • Manage all trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete trip paperwork in strict adherence to company procedures.
  • Represent Jet Aviation as a professional brand ambassador, dedicated to delivering exceptional service.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP)
  • Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • 3,500 hours total fixed-wing flight time
  • 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
  • 1,500 hours multi-engine flight time
  • 500 hours turbojet flight time
  • 500 hours turbine flight time
  • 100 hours night flight time
  • 75 hours simulated instrument time
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission requirements.
  • Willingness to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.

Work Environment

This role involves performing tasks requiring regular use of hands, standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds, including overhead, is necessary. Excellent vision across various ranges and depths is essential. The Captain will operate in diverse environments, from maintenance areas to upscale customer spaces, and will experience the dynamic atmosphere of aircraft operations, including potential exposure to high noise levels, vibrations, fuel fumes, and varying weather conditions. Extensive global travel is an integral part of this position.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $290,000 to $310,000. This range is indicative and the final salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
