Minimum Requirements
Jet Aviation is actively searching for seasoned pilots prepared to meet the demands of this role. Essential qualifications include:
- Expert Credentials: Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate and a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Proven Flight Experience: A minimum of 3,500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time, encompassing at least 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours in multi-engine aircraft, 500 hours in turbojet aircraft, 500 hours in turbine aircraft, 100 hours of night flight, and 75 hours of simulated instrument flight time.
- Work Schedule Flexibility: Ability to adhere to a variable work schedule to accommodate diverse flight mission profiles.
- Global Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensing: A valid driver's license is necessary.

Main Responsibilities
Key duties and responsibilities for this position include:
- Flight Command: Assuming command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure the highest levels of safety and compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations.
- Operational Precision: Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of all aircraft systems to ensure precise operation, effective flight plan management, and adaptability to changing conditions for a seamless passenger experience.
- Crew Mentorship: Collaborating closely with the Second in Command, providing guidance and imparting knowledge to foster their development for future leadership roles.
- Safety Advocacy: Fulfilling the duties of the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as per applicable security programs. Conducting passenger safety briefings or delegating this responsibility. Actively promoting open communication regarding safety, reporting hazards, and upholding Jet Aviation's commitment to a secure environment. Documenting and reporting all aircraft discrepancies promptly.
- Administrative Management: Overseeing trip documentation, maintaining aircraft manuals, and completing all trip paperwork accurately in accordance with company procedures.
- Brand Representation: Serving as a professional ambassador for Jet Aviation, embodying the company's mission of delivering exceptional service.
Work Environment
Candidates can anticipate the following:
- Physical Demands: Tasks will involve regular use of hands, standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional requirements for climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent lifting and moving of objects up to 50 pounds, including overhead. Maintaining acute vision for various ranges and depths is essential.

Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $290,000 to $310,000. This range is indicative and not a guaranteed offer. The final salary determination will consider factors such as candidate experience, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
