Airline Transport Pilot

Job Summary

The Airline Transport Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies. This pivotal role involves critical decision-making regarding flight operations, including departure times, routes, and potential flight cancellations due to weather or other operational factors. The pilot will meticulously ensure that all flights are conducted in complete compliance with federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company aircraft in accordance with all established protocols and procedures.
  • Determine optimal departure times and flight routes, considering factors such as weather and operational efficiency.
  • Exercise sound judgment in canceling flights when weather or other conditions pose a safety risk.
  • Ensure all flight operations comply fully with federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating.
  • Must obtain and maintain an FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum of 4000 hours of total fixed-wing flight time.
  • Minimum of 1500 hours of multi-engine land flight time.
  • Minimum of 2000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
