Position Summary
Jet Aviation seeks a Lead Captain to assume responsibility for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of flight assignments. This leadership role involves serving as the Pilot in Command (PIC), ensuring adherence to the highest standards of safety, security, and quality. The Lead Captain will also contribute to crew development, cultivate a culture of excellence, and represent the company's brand. This position requires embodying discretion, adaptability, and leadership in an environment dedicated to elevating the travel experience and exercising true airmanship.
Minimum Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical.

5 years of aviation experience, including:
- 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time.
- 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command.
- 1,500 hours multi-engine.
- 500 hours turbojet.
- 500 hours turbine.
- 100 hours night.
- 75 Simulated Instrument hours.
- Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles.
- Willingness to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
- High school diploma.
- Valid driver’s license.

- A deep understanding of the aviation industry.
- College degree preferred.
- Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
- Appropriate Aircraft Type Rating and Currency.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all assigned flights, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, flight plan filing, and analysis of weather and route conditions.
- Mentor and guide crew members, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate schedules and training.
- Promote a strong safety culture, adhere to best practices, conduct passenger briefings, and address aircraft discrepancies.
- Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, assist in crew hiring, and represent Jet Aviation professionally.
- Represent the Jet Aviation brand through professionalism and dedication.
Work Environment
- Perform tasks requiring standing, walking, sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching.
- Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting.
- Maintain sharp vision across various ranges and depths.
- Operate in diverse environments, from maintenance areas to customer spaces.
- Experience dynamic aircraft operations, including occasional high noise levels, vibrations, and exposure to fuel fumes.
- Adapt to changing weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes in hangar settings.
