Minimum Requirements

Jet Aviation seeks accomplished pilots ready to excel in this challenging role. Essential qualifications include:

  • Expert Credentials: An Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and a current FAA First Class Medical certificate.
  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 3,500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours multi-engine, 500 hours turbojet, 500 hours turbine, 100 hours night, and 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
  • Flexibility: The ability to work a variable schedule to accommodate diverse flight mission profiles.
  • Global Readiness: Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
  • Education: A high school diploma is required.
  • Licenses: A valid driver's license.

Main Responsibilities

Key duties for the Gulfstream 550 Captain include:

  • Lead with Confidence: Assume command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and full compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
  • Deliver Excellence: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all aircraft systems for precise operation, effective flight plan management, and adaptation to changing conditions to guarantee a seamless travel experience.
  • Collaborate and Mentor: Work closely with the Second in Command, sharing knowledge and skills to foster their development for future leadership roles.
  • Champion Safety: Execute the functions of the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as per the applicable security program. Conduct required passenger safety briefings or delegate this duty. Actively promote open communication regarding safety, report hazards, and uphold Jet Aviation's commitment to a secure environment. Record and report all aircraft discrepancies promptly.
  • Provide Administrative Excellence: Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork in accordance with company procedures.
  • Represent the Brand: Serve as the professional face of Jet Aviation, demonstrating dedication to the company's mission of delivering exceptional service.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $290,000 to $310,000. This range is indicative and not a guaranteed offer; the final salary will be determined based on factors such as candidate experience, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
