Minimum Requirements
Jet Aviation seeks accomplished pilots ready to embrace the challenges and rewards of this critical role. Essential qualifications include:
- Pilot Certification: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP) and a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Flight Experience: A minimum of 3,500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time is required, with specific experience including:
- 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
- 1,500 hours of multi-engine experience
- 500 hours of turbojet experience
- 500 hours of turbine experience
- 100 hours of night flight experience
- 75 hours of simulated instrument flight experience
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a variable schedule to accommodate diverse flight mission profiles.
- Global Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Licensing: A valid driver's license is required.

Main Responsibilities
The Captain will be responsible for:
- Flight Command: Assuming command of all assigned flights, making critical safety and compliance decisions in accordance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Operational Excellence: Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to ensure precise operation, effective flight plan management, and adaptability to changing conditions for a seamless travel experience.
- Mentorship and Collaboration: Working closely with the Second in Command, fostering their development and preparing them for future leadership opportunities.
- Safety Advocacy: Serving as the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as per applicable security programs. Conducting required passenger safety briefings or delegating this duty. Actively promoting open communication regarding safety, reporting hazards, and upholding Jet Aviation’s commitment to a secure operational environment. Accurately recording and reporting aircraft discrepancies.
- Administrative Proficiency: Efficiently managing trip documentation, maintaining aircraft manuals, and completing accurate trip paperwork in compliance with company procedures.
- Brand Representation: Serving as a professional and dedicated representative of Jet Aviation, embodying the company’s mission of exceptional service delivery.

Candidates can expect:
- Physical Demands: Tasks may involve regular use of hands, standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional requirements for climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $290,000 to $310,000. This range is indicative and not a guaranteed offer. The final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
