Position Summary
Jet Aviation seeks an experienced Captain to command Gulfstream 550 aircraft in an elite private aviation environment. This role requires leadership, precision, and discretion in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of state-of-the-art aircraft. The Captain will lead a professional crew, provide exceptional service to discerning clientele, navigate diverse routes, and uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism. As Pilot in Command, the Captain is entrusted with ultimate responsibility for flight safety and efficiency, ensuring journeys are conducted with the highest standards of safety, security, and quality. Minimum Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
- FAA First Class Medical
- 3,500 hours total fixed-wing flight time
- 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command
- 1,500 hours multi-engine flight time
- 500 hours turbojet flight time
- 500 hours turbine flight time
- 100 hours night flight time
- 75 hours simulated instrument flight time
- Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles
- Willingness to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license

Main Responsibilities
- Take command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems to operate with precision, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions.
- Work closely with the Second in Command, imparting knowledge and skills.
- Perform functions of the In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as applicable.
- Conduct passenger safety briefings or assign this duty.
- Support open communication on safety issues, report hazards, and uphold Jet Aviation's commitment to a secure environment.
- Record and report all aircraft discrepancies.
- Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork.
- Represent Jet Aviation with professionalism and dedication.
Work Environment
- Perform tasks requiring regular use of hands, standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching.
- Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting.
- Maintain sharp vision across various ranges and depths.
- Operate in a variety of environments, from heavy maintenance areas to upscale customer spaces.
- Experience the dynamic atmosphere of aircraft operations, including occasional high noise levels, vibrations, and exposure to fuel fumes.
- Adapt to changing weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes in hangar settings.
- Travel the world, delivering exceptional service and representing Jet Aviation.
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $290,000 to $310,000. This range is not a guaranteed offer. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as candidate experience, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
