Airline Captain
A highly skilled and experienced Airline Captain is sought to assume command and safely operate aircraft, upholding the highest standards of aviation safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The Captain will be entrusted with critical flight decisions, including meticulously determining optimal departure times and flight routes, and exercising informed judgment to make decisive calls on flight cancellations based on prevailing weather conditions or other operational factors. This pivotal role demands unwavering adherence to all federal, local, and company aviation regulations, policies, and established procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operates the aircraft as pilot-in-command, ensuring adherence to all established protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Executes comprehensive flight planning, including determining optimal departure times and efficient flight routes.
- Evaluates dynamic weather and operational conditions to make timely and decisive judgments regarding flight initiation or cancellation.
- Ensures complete and continuous compliance with all federal aviation regulations (FAA), local guidelines, and stringent company policies and procedures throughout all flight operations.
Essential Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with the appropriate aircraft type rating.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 4000 hours Total Fixed Wing flight time.
- Minimum of 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land flight time.
- Minimum of 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
- Minimum of 1500 hours Turbojet flight time.
