Airline Transport Pilot
The Airline Transport Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering to the highest standards of professionalism and safety. The pilot determines optimal departure times and routes, and makes critical decisions regarding flight cancellations based on weather conditions or other factors affecting safety.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the aircraft, ensuring the well-being of passengers and crew.
- Determine departure times and routes, and/or cancel flights based on weather or other conditions.
- Ensure that all flights are conducted in complete compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating is mandatory.
- Must obtain and maintain an FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 4000 hours total fixed-wing flight time is required.
- Minimum of 1500 hours of multi-engine land flight time is required.
- Minimum of 2000 hours of Pilot-in-Command flight time is required.
