Captain, Gulfstream 450
Jet Aviation is seeking a highly experienced and safety-oriented Captain to join our team in Dulles, Virginia (KIAD). As Captain, your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of flight operations, including:
- Safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream 450, ensuring compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations and procedures.
- Making critical decisions regarding departure times, routes, and flight cancellations based on a thorough assessment of weather and other conditions.
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all aircraft systems, including emergency procedures, and demonstrating proficiency in their application.
- Leading and mentoring the Second in Command, fostering a culture of open communication and shared responsibility for safety.
- Communicating effectively with passengers, crew members, and operational control, ensuring a seamless and professional flight experience.
- Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and discretion, reflecting Jet Aviation's commitment to excellence in all areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with Gulfstream 450 Type Rating
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- 4,000 hours Total Fixed Wing Flight Time
- 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land Experience
- 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command Experience
- 1,500 hours Turbojet Experience
- 1,500 hours Turbine Time
- 100 hours Night Flying Experience
- 75 hours Actual or Simulated Instrument Experience
- 5 years of Aviation Experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Flexibility to work varied schedules and travel extensively worldwide

Physical Demands:
