Jet Aviation seeks an experienced and dedicated Captain to join its team in Dallas, Texas. This on-site position offers the opportunity to pilot a Gulfstream GIV and play a vital role in delivering exceptional flight services.
Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Assuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, prioritizing safety, security, and quality throughout every flight assignment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintaining complete adherence to all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures during flight operations.
- Proactive Decision Making: Making informed decisions regarding departure times, routes, and potential flight cancellations based on weather conditions and other operational factors.
- Effective Communication: Ensuring clear and comprehensive communication with the Second in Command, passengers, and relevant operational personnel.
- Meticulous Documentation: Accurately completing all trip paperwork and aircraft discrepancy logs, promptly reporting any maintenance issues.
- Continuous Learning: Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of aircraft systems, emergency procedures, and industry best practices.
- Teamwork and Mentorship: Fostering a collaborative environment and sharing expertise with the Second in Command, preparing them for future leadership roles.
- Safety Advocacy: Actively promoting a safety-conscious culture, reporting all safety hazards and concerns, and adhering to Jet Aviation's safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a Gulfstream GIV type rating.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum flight experience:
- 4,000 hours total fixed-wing time
- 1,500 hours multi-engine land time
- 2,000 hours pilot-in-command time
- 1,500 hours turbojet time
- 1,500 hours turbine time
- 100 hours night time
- 75 hours actual or simulated instrument time
- Five years of aviation experience.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules and travel extensively worldwide.
- Valid driver's license.
