Captain - Gulfstream GIV

Jet Aviation is searching for a highly qualified and experienced Captain to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a Gulfstream GIV aircraft, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of flight assignments worldwide. Responsibilities:
Flight Operations:
- Act as Pilot in Command, responsible for all aspects of flight safety and adherence to regulations and company procedures.
- Determine optimal departure times, routes, and make critical go/no-go decisions based on weather and operational factors.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, including emergency procedures, ensuring the highest level of operational proficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with the Second in Command, fostering a culture of open communication and shared situational awareness.
- Meticulously complete all pre-flight and post-flight documentation, including trip paperwork, discrepancy logs, and flight plans.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight briefings for passengers, ensuring their safety and understanding of onboard procedures.
Safety & Compliance:
- Proactively identify and report any safety hazards or concerns, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain a current FAA First Class Medical certificate.
- Remain current with industry best practices and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with all FAA and company standards.
- Champion a safety-first mentality, adhering to and enforcing all safety regulations and protocols.

- Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, interacting professionally with crew, passengers, and colleagues.

Qualifications:
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a valid Gulfstream GIV type rating.
- Minimum of 4,000 hours total fixed-wing flight time.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours multi-engine land experience.
- Minimum of 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command time.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours turbojet experience.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours turbine time.
- Minimum of 100 hours of night flying experience.
- Minimum of 75 hours of actual or simulated instrument time.
- A minimum of 5 years of aviation experience.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
- A college degree is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

- Work will be performed in a hangar environment, which may be subject to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Occasional exposure to fuel fumes is possible.
