Position Summary
Jet Aviation is seeking an exceptional Captain for its Challenger 300 operations in Burbank, California. What We're Looking For
Jet Aviation is actively recruiting experienced pilots ready to assume leadership and operational excellence in the flight services division.
Required Qualifications:
- Expert Credentials: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and a valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Proven Flight Experience: A minimum of 3,500 total fixed-wing flight hours, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours multi-engine, 500 hours turbojet, 500 hours turbine, 100 hours night flight, and 75 hours of simulated instrument flight time.
- Operational Flexibility: Ability to work a variable schedule aligned with flight mission requirements.
- Global Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
- Educational Foundation: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensing: Possession of a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities
- Flight Command: Assume command of all assigned flights, making decisive judgments to ensure the highest levels of safety and compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations.
- Operational Proficiency: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all aircraft systems to ensure precise operation, effective flight plan management, and seamless adaptation to changing conditions for an exceptional travel experience.
- Crew Mentorship: Collaborate closely with the Second in Command, sharing expertise and skills to foster their development into future leadership roles.
- Safety Advocacy: Execute duties as the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) as per applicable security programs. Conduct passenger safety briefings or delegate appropriately. Actively promote open communication regarding safety, report hazards, and uphold Jet Aviation's commitment to a secure operational environment. Diligently record and report all aircraft discrepancies as they occur.
- Administrative Management: Oversee trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete all trip paperwork accurately in accordance with company procedures.
- Brand Representation: Serve as a primary representative of Jet Aviation, demonstrating professionalism and a steadfast commitment to the company's mission of delivering exceptional service.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Physical Demands: This role requires regular engagement in tasks involving hand use, standing, walking, and sitting. Occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching may be necessary. The ability to frequently lift and move objects up to 50 pounds, including overhead, is essential. Sharp and accurate vision across various ranges and depths is critical.
- Operational Setting: The work environment encompasses diverse settings, from heavy maintenance areas to sophisticated customer lounges. Professionals will experience the dynamic atmosphere of aircraft operations, including periods of high noise levels, vibrations, and potential exposure to fuel fumes. Adaptability to varying weather conditions and seasonal temperature fluctuations within hangar environments is expected.

Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $290,000 to $310,000 annually. Please note that this range is indicative and not a guaranteed offer. The final salary will be determined based on a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate's experience, geographic location, and other pertinent factors.
