As a Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a Global 6000 aircraft, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and company procedures.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Lead Captain, the Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of all flight assignments, prioritizing safety, security, and quality. The Captain exercises ultimate authority for the safe operation of the aircraft and is the final decision-maker in all flight-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the aircraft, determining departure times and routes, and making necessary flight cancellations due to weather or other conditions.
- Ensure complete compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Implement necessary adjustments to flight plans based on en route conditions, adhering to company policies, procedures, and rules.
- Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to industry and company standards.
- Accurately complete all trip paperwork according to established procedures.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive communication with the Second in Command regarding all aspects of the flight.
- Record aircraft discrepancies as they occur, reporting them to the Director of Maintenance or their designee.
- Determine the flight crew's fitness for duty, ensuring proper attire, mental acuity, and physical ability.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all aircraft systems, including emergency systems and associated procedures.
- Secure the aircraft after each flight, including arranging hangar storage as necessary.
- Obtain the most current weather reports, forecasts, and NOTAMs from authorized sources.
- File or ensure the filing of flight plans with the FAA or ICAO state ATC facility.
- Analyze area, en route, and terminal charts for the intended landing airport and alternates.
- Fulfill the responsibilities of the In-TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under the relevant security program.
- Conduct required passenger safety briefings or delegate the task to the Second in Command.
- Impart knowledge and skills to the Second in Command to prepare them to assume the duties of Pilot in Command in emergencies or during promotions.
- Complete and submit the leg manifest to operations control before each departure.
- Complete and submit the End of Day (EOD) report to operations control upon completion of each flight day.
- Actively support the open sharing of information on safety issues, reporting all safety hazards and concerns.
- Immediately report any hazardous action, conduct, or event to the Chief Pilot and Director of Safety.
- Delegate specific duties but retain ultimate responsibility for all tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Represent Jet Aviation internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
Minimum Requirements:
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- 4,000 hours total fixed wing experience.
- 1,500 hours multi-engine land experience.
- 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command experience.
- 1,500 hours turbojet experience.
- 1,500 hours turbine time.
- 100 hours night experience.
- 75 hours actual or simulated instrument experience.
- 5 years of aviation experience.
- Ability to work flexible schedules.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
- Valid driver's license.
