Based in Farmingdale, New York (KFRG), Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced and passionate Captain to join our esteemed team and pilot our Global 6000 aircraft.

Position Summary:
As Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Global 6000 aircraft, prioritizing safety, security, and quality throughout every flight assignment. Reporting to the Lead Captain, you will exercise your authority to ensure the highest standards of professionalism and compliance with all company, federal, and local regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the aircraft, making informed decisions on departure times, routes, and potential flight cancellations based on weather and other relevant factors.
- Maintain unwavering compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures throughout each flight.
- Adapt to changing en route conditions, implementing necessary adjustments to ensure continued operation under appropriate company guidelines.
- Uphold industry-leading standards for safe and prudent flight conduct.
- Meticulously complete all trip paperwork according to established procedures.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with the Second in Command, ensuring a shared understanding of all aspects of the flight.
- Diligently record aircraft discrepancies in the aircraft discrepancy log and promptly report them to the Director of Maintenance or designated personnel.
- Collaborate with the Director of Maintenance to determine the deferral or repair of inoperative items, adhering to the approved MEL.
- Verify the flight crew's adherence to proper attire and assess their mental and physical fitness for duty.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all aircraft systems, including emergency procedures.
- Ensure the secure storage of the aircraft after each flight, including hangar arrangements as needed.
- Obtain and analyze the most current weather reports, forecasts, and NOTAMS.
- File or delegate the filing of flight plans with relevant FAA or ICAO state ATC facilities.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight analysis of area, en route, and terminal charts for intended landing and alternate airports.
- Execute the functions of the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) in accordance with the Twelve Five Standard Security Program or Private Charter Standard Security Program, as applicable.
- Deliver or delegate passenger safety briefings to the Second in Command.
- Mentor and train the Second in Command, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to assume Pilot in Command responsibilities in emergency situations or future upgrades.
- Ensure timely submission of leg manifests and End of Day (EOD) reports to Operations Control.
- Actively contribute to a culture of open communication and information sharing regarding safety issues, promptly reporting all hazards and concerns.
- Immediately report any hazardous actions, conduct, or events to the Chief Pilot and Director of Safety.
- Delegate duties while retaining ultimate responsibility for their completion.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Serve as a Brand Ambassador, representing Jet Aviation with integrity and professionalism in interactions with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
Minimum Requirements:
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- 4,000 hours Total Fixed Wing flight time.
- 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land experience.
- 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command experience.
- 1,500 hours Turbojet experience.
- 1,500 hours Turbine time.
- 100 hours Night flight experience.
- 75 hours Actual or Simulated Instrument time.
- 5 years of aviation experience.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
- Valid driver's license.
