Jet Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced A220 Captain to join their Flight Operations team in Singapore. This role requires a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of flight safety and operational procedures, while providing professional service to Jet Aviation's clientele. This position reports to the Director of Flight Operations, specifically for the A220 fleet based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
The A220 Captain will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard the aircraft.
- Strictly adhering to all operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Verifying that all crew members are in their designated stations prior to take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibiting any non-essential activities by crew members during take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing.
- Maintaining the integrity of flight data and cockpit voice recorders, ensuring that they are not disabled or erased, unless required for incident or accident investigation.
- Coordinating workload distribution within the flight crew to achieve optimal airmanship throughout the flight.
- Ensuring precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitude restrictions.
- Observing the limitations of all aircraft systems and ensuring proper use and handling of the aircraft.
- Enforcing the strict use of checklists at all times.
- Guaranteeing that sufficient usable fuel remains to proceed to an airport where a safe landing can be made, with final reserve fuel remaining.
- Maintaining consistent communication with the cabin crew to ensure all cabin safety requirements are met.
- Ensuring the accurate and complete filling of flight and technical logs.
- Preparing and filing written occurrence and accident reports as necessary.
- Maintaining up-to-date familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manuals, and agreed aviation practices.
- Upholding a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance befitting a representative of the company.
- Complying with all regulations as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensuring all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits, safety equipment, and emergency procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must be currently type-rated on the A220 aircraft.
- Prior experience in private jet operations is preferred.
- A minimum of 500 hours of flight time on the Bombardier XRS is preferred; however, candidates with 5,000 hours of overall flight experience will also be considered.
- Must be willing to relocate to Singapore.
