Position Overview

The Global XRS Captain will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Bombardier Global XRS aircraft, prioritizing the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard. This role demands a high level of professionalism, expertise, and commitment to upholding the highest standards of aviation safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM).
Maintain a vigilant focus on safety during all phases of flight, including take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing, ensuring all crew members are stationed and performing their designated duties.
Prohibit the disabling or erasing of flight data and/or cockpit voice recorder data, except in circumstances where data preservation is critical for incident or accident investigations.
Effectively coordinate workload distribution amongst the flight crew, fostering a culture of good airmanship throughout the flight.
Maintain precise navigation and adhere to minimum altitude requirements.
Exercise meticulous attention to aircraft system limitations and ensure their proper use and handling.
Enforce strict adherence to checklists.
Maintain sufficient usable fuel reserves to safely reach an alternative airport, including final reserve fuel requirements.
Maintain close communication with the cabin crew, ensuring adherence to all cabin safety protocols.
Complete all necessary flight and technical logs accurately.
Prepare and file comprehensive occurrence and accident reports as needed.
Stay current with relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manuals, and industry best practices.
Maintain the highest standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
Comply with all regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and Air Navigation Order (ANO).
Provide passengers with clear and comprehensive briefings on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

Current type rating for Bombardier Global XRS aircraft.
Minimum 500 hours of flight time on the Bombardier Global XRS.
AOC operation experience.
Willingness to relocate to Hong Kong.
